real estate investingI've had a couple of “tech challenges” this week, but I finally got everything straightened out. So today I wanted to do a mini podcast for you today on farm areas. This one is short and sweet at just under 10 minutes.

So many new investors start out by working “everywhere” in their city.  I can tell you from experience, it is hard to be an expert in every area especially  when you are brand new.

So What's the answer?

The answer is to concentrate on a particular area and make that your farm area.

Your farm area is the area you want to learn; the area you want to become an expert in.  It is the area you will concentrate your initial efforts on.  So let's get right to it.

 Show Notes

  • What exactly a farm area is
  • Why you should learn a farm area when you are brand new
  • Why open houses are a great way to learn your farm area
  • The importance of working with real estate agents
  • How to find out about “pocket listings”
  • Working with landlords
