It's that time of year again.  We are just about to finish the 3rd quarter of the year.  How are you coming with those goals you set last January when the new year stretched out in front of you?  I don't know about you, but while I have nailed some pretty big goals for this year, I still have some that are looking a little “neglected”.

We still have a little more than 3 months to complete all of those goals we set, so it's time to get busy.

Three Steps to Success

The first step is to pull out that list you made back in January.  Check off all the completed or in-progress items on the list then give yourself a big pat on the back.  You are so much further along than they other 95% of the people (or more) that stuffed that paper in a drawer and never thought about it again.

Next you want to take out a brand new piece of paper and make an updated list.  It's time to decide. Which ones are the ones you INTEND to accomplish before the end of the year. Really think about the commitment that goes along with the word “intend”.  Put those tasks and projects on the new list.

Are there some that no longer fit with that big vision for your business?   Then go ahead and draw a line through those and put them aside.  You are entitled to change your mind.

The third thing you need to do is ask yourself if there is anything else that needs to be added to your list; things that will help you reach or exceed those original big goals you set back in January.  Go ahead and write those down.  You still have about 16 weeks until the end of the year. That's enough time to create a whole bunch of awesomeness in your life and your business.

Here is a quick audio and maybe a bit of a refresher course on how to sett and achieve those great big goals.
