There are a number of things that hold real estate investors back when it comes to probate investing. But generally, it's this one thing: they just don't know where to start. I have some tips for you today that will help you take those “first steps”.
So, what is the process for getting started in probate investing? Just where do you start? There are basically 4 steps in the probate process and here is where you start.
Getting the leads
Determining if there is any property in the estate
Marketing to the leads
Driving traffic back to your website
There are over 3300 counties in the US and there is no “one place” to get them. You're going to have to do some detective work to get them, but I have some ideas for you in this show.
Once you've got the leads, you will need to look up each property to see if there is real estate that you actually want to buy.
You're also going to need to have 4 pieces of information in order to work in the niche of probates. You need the name and address of both the executor and the deceased.
