marketing

Do you have an “edge” in your business? What I mean by that is have you found a way to distinguish your business from your competitors?

Let's face it. If you are a real estate investor, you are doing pretty much what the next guy is doing. It really doesn't make a whole lot of difference if you are a wholesaler, a rehabber or a landlord. We are all out there looking for good deals. And whether we are wholesaling a deal to a fellow investor or we have just rehabbed a house for a retail buyer, we need good marketing skills for every part of this business.

I am in Atlanta right now for a few days getting some “marketing mo-jo”. I love marketing, and I consider it to be one of my strengths. But I am the first to admit, you have to continually work on being the best in your industry. That’s one reason I was so excited to come to this particular seminar. I have the opportunity to spend 3 days with one of the best marketing coaches in the country Diane Conklin. I sure I will pick up more than a couple of ideas I can implement right away in my business. You know what they say, “learners are earners”. Try to take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way to continue your real estate education.

I can’t wait to share some of this information with you. For those of you that missed the video interview I did with Diane a while back, I am going to post it again so that you can check it out.

Listen to Diane's interview here…
