Back in 2010 I wrote an article on how being a good landlord will almost always result in having happier tenants. And, we all know that happy tenants don't usually have a reason to move unless they outgrow the property, want to change school systems, they change jobs or have another similar situation come up. It they like the property and the people involved with the property they just don't move.
As a landlord, it has a huge impact on your bottom line if you can turn your good tenants into long term tenants. It's your job to make them want to stay.
Here are some updated tips to help you stand out from the “ordinary” landlord or property manager. You may already be doing some of these things, but I can promise you that implementing some of these additional tips will change your business and the way your tenants think about your business.
