Any real estate investor that has been in business for even a short time, figures out pretty quickly that you live or die by your marketing. Marketing to motivated sellers is actually your number one job in this business.
Simply put; without a steady stream of leads you will be out of business before you know it.
While some things are similar no matter what your business is when it comes to marketing, there are some very distinct differences in the way you market to sellers. Real estate investors usually get one chance with a motivated seller, because as a rule they only have one property to sell. There is very little time to establish the whole “Know, like and trust” thing with a seller, so you had better bring your “A” game right from the start.
