Listsource is good for certain types of leads such as absentee owners. Probates are one of my favorite niches, but you can’t get those leads there. You can call your local probate court and find out where they are published (if the are). Here, they are in the newspaper.
I would also write some articles and point them back to your website. You can post those articles on Ezine and some of the other sites.
I think, one of the most important things today is to get your website found. I like the low hanging fruit; not the houses everyone else is chasing.

I have used listsource, and put out bandit signs, although, most often I been generating the most contacts by grabbing the, as you say, “Low hanging fruit”. Letting everyone that I know about my business has been a huge help.
