My guest today is Arizona short sales superstar and Realtor Tracy Royce. Tracy is an investor, a Realtor, a rehabber, and a foreclosure expert. She has a thriving real estate business, and she has helped a whole lot of people in tough situations in her area.
Like me, Tracy has seen the market change tremendously over the last few years. One of the biggest changes has to do with short sales which have pretty much dried up in many areas.
Sometimes I think real estate investors are like chameleons; when the market changes we need to be ready to change quickly with it and Tracy has been able to do that successfully.
The strategy known as Buy and Hold Real Estate Investing has been considered the path to long term wealth for decades. It is what I like to call the “Get rich slowly real estate investing strategy”. It provides you with monthly passive income, great tax benefits and if done properly it will allow you to accumulate great wealth in the process.
The problem with this strategy for a lot of folks is that they are impatient. If you are looking for large chunks of cash today, this isn't the strategy to choose for your real estate investing business. But if you are willing to use this buy and hold real estate investing strategy in your business and you buy the right type of property in good neighborhoods, then you can expect to have an enviable stream of passive income down the line. If you want to retire wealthy, then this is the strategy for you.
