It's that time of year again. Summer is over, the kids have gone back to school, and we finally have to admit that we can no longer use those distractions as an excuse for why we've gotten off track; why we have lost our focus.
As Wayne Dyer says in his book “Excuses Begone”, “lose the excuses”. We have to own the fact that we are where we are because of what we've done in the past. Those are powerful words. But equally powerful is the knowledge that in this moment we have the ability to change our future.
With fall approaching and the holidays just a few months away, now is the perfect time to regroup and get back on track. There’s still time to hit a homerun.
Pat yourself on the back for all of your successes. Then take a good look at your goals for this year. Decide what you can still accomplish if you give it your all for the next three months. Then get to work! There's still time for a spectacular finish.
