I just finished reading a book that is just full of wisdom for entrepreneurs called “The Compound Effect” by Darren Hardy. I am a big fan of Darren's publication “Success Magazine” so I was really anxious to read this book. And I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed.
“Success is often built by taking small consistent steps over time”.
Slow and Steady Wins the Race
One of the main concepts in this book is that you don't have to be the smartest person on the planet, but you have to take those small consistent steps needed EVERY day for success. You’ll notice he doesn’t say some days or most every day; he says every day. Check out his system for setting yourself up for success.

Sharon,
I love this book. I never realized how powerful sitting down and seeing a project through to its completion could be. It sounds really dumb to type it out, but I was working on so many different things – none of them got done. I have experienced this first hand and it is amazing.
Love the blog and I am going to listen to your podcast today over lunch.
Thanks,
Matt Sullivan
Matt – I really love that book too. It’s so simple, yet most of us need to be reminded to do these things. Another great book is “The One Thing”. It has really helped me with focus and finding that “one thing” I need to concentrate on NOW. Thanks for your comments.

Thank you Anne! I just got my copy yesterday. I was honored to be asked to contribute to the publication.
