Why Direct Mail?
Direct mail is still the #1 source of leads for both of us. That is something that hasn’t changed over the years. No matter what type of market we are in, direct mail is the best lead generator of all.
However if you’ve going to be successful with direct mail, you need to be consistent. You need a system that is implemented month after month. 81% of your deals will come at or beyond the 5th mailing.
Direct mail isn’t hard, but you will only gain momentum by following the process, and by being consistent. Momentum is what you get just by staying in the game when everyone else drops out.

Hey Sharon! Great podcast with Kathy!!!! I guess one thing about this podcast that was that surprising to me was that Kathy said she didnt vary her marketing message. On the flip side guys like sean terry, and michael quarles say they are sending 4-6 different marketing messages every month they send out a mailer. So essentially they are sending a different piece every month. I guess consistency in sending, is more important than what you send?
Consistency is the big thing Zachary. I think you have to find out what works best in your market. Do a little testing.

I totally agree on staying consistent, its the hardest thing for most people to do and the number one thing they have to do in order actually buy houses.
